QAQC Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Quality Controller to join our retail fit-out manufacturing facility, specializing in bespoke joinery and luxury retail projects.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, quality-driven, and experienced in managing quality across factory production, finishing, and site coordination to ensure compliance with client and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and quality objectives across the manufacturing facility

• Conduct incoming material inspections and report non-conformities

• Perform In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) checks at all production stages

• Carry out final inspections, prepare snag lists, and coordinate rectifications

• Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) quality and ensure defect-free output

• Investigate quality issues, NCRs, and customer complaints, and implement CAPA

• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation

• Lead final inspection before dispatch

• Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why) for recurring defects

• Support training and quality awareness programs for production teams

• Visit supplier facilities to address quality concerns and ensure compliance

• Visit project sites to verify that factory-supplied items meet required quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Controller / QAQC in retail fit-out or joinery manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, and shopfitting standards

• Experience in luxury retail projects is highly preferred

• Good understanding of drawings, cutting lists, and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with production and site teams
