Electrical Engineer-Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Project Engineer with strong expertise in Design and Project Execution within the UAE utility sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in projects related to TAQA (ADDC), ADSSC, or ADWEA, covering the full project lifecycle from design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and implement electrical designs including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Load Lists, Cable Schedules, and General Arrangement Drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for design submissions and approvals (TAQA/ADDC/ADSSC/ADWEA).
• Manage project execution, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and authority standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV switchgear, MDB, MCC, transformers, control panels, cabling, and protection systems.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports, method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, local regulations, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, DEWA/ADDC codes, etc.).
• Liaise with procurement and vendors for equipment selection, evaluation, and approval.
• Support tendering activities by preparing BOQs, technical proposals, and cost estimates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design and Project Execution.
• Proven track record in UAE utility authority projects (TAQA/ADDC, ADSSC, or ADWEA).
• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, switchgear, control systems, and protection schemes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant electrical design tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Preferred:

• UAE driving license.
• Familiarity with ADDC(TAQA)/DEWA/FEWA standards is an advantage.
